Arabia RUNO Summer Lei: A Floral Plate That Doesn't Look Dated

Floral tableware usually goes one of two ways: precious and old-fashioned, or so minimal it barely counts as floral at all. Arabia's RUNO Summer Lei pattern splits the difference — an illustrated wreath of red and green botanicals on a plain white ground, drawn with the same loose, hand-sketched line you'll recognize from Nordic textile design.

At 26cm, it's a full dinner plate rather than a side plate, so it works as the centerpiece of a place setting instead of a supporting piece. Because the pattern sits mostly around the rim, the center stays clear enough that food is still the focus — a detail a lot of "statement" dinnerware gets wrong.
